JRCC receives 700 apples from Yummy Market in celebration of Rosh Hashana

JRCC (Jewish Russian Community Centre)  received 700 apples from Yummy Market in celebration of Rosh Hashana.  With the help of several volunteers, the JRCC East Thornhill will spread the sweetness and joy of the Jewish New Year to 700 households in the neighbourhood. The packages, containing apples donated by Yummy Market, honey, and a card wishing a Happy New Year from the community express the oneness of the Jewish people, a central theme of Rosh Hashana.
